Gym selfies.

I should just leave it at that. Because really, what more needs to be said than that? I contemplated using this as a topic of What's Up Wednesday because every time I see a gym selfie I say to myself " What
s up with that? "... Actually, I say alot worse in my head.

But I figure that gym selfies can appropriately fall under Fun Friday because they provide wild entertainment for the masses. In fact this morning as I was running on the treadmill, I saw a repeat offender who's main goal seems to be taking the perfect gym selfie. And thanks to him, I was able to run longer because I wanted to wait and see what type of pose he was going to do this week.

I could fill pages about this guy, but I won't. I noticed him a few weeks ago. Sort of hard not to, because he pretty much wears almost nothing as he "lifts".  And in between his sets he stops to snap a pic of myself. Sometimes when he has a buddy with him they take them of each other. I'll admit, they are in good shape, but the focus seems to be more about the picture here, rather than anything else. But it doesn't just stop with the selfie. The selfe is usually accompanied by some sort of "dance" or random dare I say " twerk"? I'm really not quite sure what the heck the guy is doing. But it's pretty damn hysterical. Every week it is something new. And each time I see him looking around to see if people are checking him out. I'm sure they are, but for all the wrong reasons.

Hey, at least the guy is having fun. And simultaneously providing entertainment for me and the rest of the gym. Whatever keeps you going I guess?

I don't know, personally I don't get the gym selfie, especially the ones people take of themselves in the bathroom. Come on, you're in the pottie. Who wants to see that? It's gross.  Find a better backdrop.

The next time I see this guy taking a selfie I think I'm going to photobomb him. If you're bored you should google "Gym Selfies" . You'd be surprised to see how many websites and social media outlets are dedicated to this.
