MOVE IT MONDAY

It's April 1st, spring has sprung, the sun is shining and Syracuse is in the Final Four (Orange alum here) - what more can yo ask for?  I know, a BADASS workout to keep you motivated for the month.

Welcome to the first installment of MOVE IT MONDAY. During the first week of each month, tune in to the EMPOWER blog to check out a new daily post. Each day will feature a new topic. Mondays are MOVE IT MONDAY, where you can find a new workout guaranteed to challenge you. I hope you will enjoy this monthly feature and share it with all your friends. Don't be afraid to write in and tell us what you think. We want to hear from you! MOVE IT MONDAY workout of the month 3 Rounds for time: 10 Burpees 20 Hand Release Pushups 30 Walking Lunges 40 Full Sit Ups 50 Wall Balls 1/2 mile run To make this workout harder, use a spare tire or a BOSU with the burpees and use at least a 10lb medicine ball for your wall balls. Don't have a medicine ball? That's O.K. turn your wall balls into wall jumps and just reach for the highest point on the wall you can. Whatever you do, don't ditch that 1/2 mile run. Three rounds will definitely leave you dripping and huffing and puffing, but if you're feeling like a beast, why not go for a 4th? Have fun and MOVE IT!
