TUNES FOR TUESDAY- TOUGH MUDDER EDITION

As I posted yesterday, this week's posts will all be in honor of my completion of my first Tough Mudder this past Saturday. One thing's for certain, the TM crew knows how to throw a good party. All during the event there are festivities going on, including live bands. There is even some good music playing at the START line to get you pumped up.

But what would have made my experience a whole lot nicer, would have been some kickass tunes blasting as I busted my behind to trek up and down that mother of mountain 4.5 times in the blistering heat. I'm telling you it was pretty silent as we climbed up the mountain, especially on the second go. All you could hear was heavy breathing and panting and a lot of swearing.  I do remember one or two of the obstacles having a little music, but in my opinion, you can never have enough good music to get you through a workout.

And at 2.5 hours into this event, I surely could have used a little Kanye West or G n R to get me up that damn hill. Anything to keep my mind off of the misery my body was feeling.

So without further adieu, here is my TOUGH MUDDER ANTHEMS PLAYLIST:

1. Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle (what the heck did I sign up for?)
2. Imagine Dragons - Radioactive (pretty sure the crap I crawled through might have been)
3. Kanye West - Stronger (what some people wish they were)
4. Duffy - Mercy (they clearly didn't have any for us when they planned the course)
5. Def Lepard- Pour Some Sugar On Me (I'd settle for some dang water be thrown on me)
6. AC/DC- Highway To Hell ( Cause I'm pretty sure this is where I was most of the time)
7. Bon Jovi- Livin on a Prayer (t I feel like taking the  Lord's name in vain counted as some form of prayer)
8. Queen - Another One Bites The Dust (as evident by the people laying in agony calling for medics)
9. Guns N Roses - Paradise City (yes GnR is on here twice )
10. Van Halen - Jump (if I could have I would have)
11. Tina Turner - Best ( I don't care if I finished dead last. I made it. I rule.)
12. Ozzy Osbourne- Crazy Train (because that's what we were all riding)
13. AC/DC - It's A Long Way to The Top (when you have to do it 4.5 times its even longer)
14. Van Halen- Runnin With the Devil ( Did you see my number? Seems appropriate to have this one.)
