“For Microsoft’s celebration of International Women’s Day in New England this March, the members of our Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) were treated to a virtual coaching session with MaryEllen on how to gain strategies and plans to improve their mood, energy, and relationships. Empowering women and offering programs to support mental and physical well-being is important to Microsoft New England. With staff working at home more, our ERG wanted to help our employees reduce their risk of burnout and MaryEllen was the perfect speaker to offer solutions. “
“I began participating in MaryEllen's classes about five years ago. I had not been getting much exercise, and began noticing my lack of endurance, and problems with balance. I was winded after the first class, but by the second class, I began to see an improvement in my stamina, and feeling of wellbeing. After a few months, I began to notice that my sense of balance, both during exercises, and in my daily life had improved, and I felt a sense of accomplishment. After five years, I still look forward to her classes. MaryEllen always makes each session fly by. She encourages her students to do what feels right for them, whether it is to modify, or to challenge oneself. MaryEllen shows an interest in all of her students, and cares for each one of them. She wants to be sure that they are getting the most from each workout, and are doing each move correctly, so as not to hurt themselves. No matter how I am feeling when I begin each class, by the end of each one I always feel better, both physically and emotionally. MaryEllen's positivity and encouragement, even virtually, has helped me get through the past 10 months. I would recommend participating in any of her services, whether it be fitness, wellness or both!”
“I have had the pleasure of working with Meg since April of 2020 through group classes and one-on-one coaching. She is always thoughtful and insightful about helping me to meet my fitness goals, while also paying attention to my emotional and mental health. Meg's approach is to treat health holistically. She wants you to be healthy in all ways—mind, body and spirit. My sessions with Meg are always challenging and fun. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and I often find myself smiling and laughing even while sweating and working hard. She is a fitness coach, friend and sage advice giver all at once!”
“Your enthusiasm and joy in what you do shows every day. You EMPOWER your clients to do their best and help us to recognize that we can do more. I love your passion, your ability to laugh at yourself, and that you take what you do seriously but don't take yourself seriously. You and your programs have been life changing!”
“What you share - it’s enlightening. I like to hear about different perspectives and experiences. Even when something doesn’t immediately resonate with me, I realize later that it actually does. You have a way of making things really stick. Things that I’ve learned from tips and practices you’ve shared will pop back up and get me thinking differently about things. I really appreciate that.”
“When I first decided to take your class, I didn't know if I would be capable to keep up & do the exercises. I was happy when you had a class for people 50 and over, it gave me a chance to see what my limits are. Well I'm so glad I did, you showed us that we could do the classes and showed us modification to exercises and still get a great workout. Your coaching gave me the confidence to try other classes that you offered and I thank you for your motivation and energy you bring to your classes to make it fun.”
“I had a chance to be coached by MaryEllen and I must say I had the best results working with her. I lost more than 30 pounds following her diet and workout instructions. I love her sessions and the support she gives. One good thing I have always liked about MaryEllen is her enthusiasm and willingness to help her clients reach their goals.”
